The Breakfast Point Community Association (CA) Committee is elected at an Annual General Meeting and was recently held on 20th November 2023. The video recording of the AGM is available here. Only individual Lot, Strata, Neighbourhood Association or Precinct CA Representatives are eligible to nominate for election to the Association Committee (AC), vote on motions at the AGM and may appoint up to nine AC members. For more details, please see CA Representative Role and Responsibilities.
The CA meeting schedule for 2023 is available here.
On behalf of the Community, the Association Committee makes decisions in conjunction with CA Representatives on how funds will be spent and negotiating contracted services such as lawn and garden maintenance, electricity and gas supply, security, cleaning services and waste disposal.
The CA manages an annual budget of over $4 million from your levies and income from our Country Club. Apart from funding all maintenance and upgrades to our Community buildings, roads, paths, trees and other infrastructure, the CA also pays the salaries and wages of all permanent and casual staff.
The Association Committee meets formally every month and CA Representatives are expected to attend. In addition, the Committee meets informally at least twice per month.
